CHERN’s Working group 3 (Financial investments, real estate and services) organized a talk by Mr. Greg Au-Yeung, Fintech expert, senior advisor at Fudan University, Shanghai, on June 22nd. Mr. Greg Au-Yeung provided insights into the initial development and current growth of the Chinese FinTech industry. He explained local regulations & how they stimulate the entire industry advances. An overview of China’s FinTech industry was specified together with the key drivers of success. Collaboration between Chinese and international fintech was explained, as well as synergies with Europe-based fintech players. The webinar was moderated by Anna Lupina-Wegener.
