SKILLS WORKSHOP – How to do surveys studying public opinion attitudes towards China
The second Workshop in our Online Series will build on the experience from the Sinophone Borderlands project, which ran public opinion surveys of the attitudes towards China (and other issues) in 13 European countries in 2020 and is continuing in 15 Asian countries in 2021. Key researcher leading the team, Richard Q. Turcsányi (Palacky University Olomouc), will aim to present an overall outlook of how the survey has been organized in order to give participants enough information to potentially replicate it in other countries or with other research goals. The workshop will look into organizational aspects as well as into the research design and the questionnaire. It will be interactive, with any questions and feedback welcome, and potentially leading to research collaboration.
