We are pleased to invite you to the CHERN online relaunch event China-Europe Relations in a Polarising World: What Now for Research, Policy and Action?. This event will focus on the future of China–Europe research and the future of CHERN. Originally supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) as a COST Action from 2019 to 2024, CHERN is now transitioning into a standalone network.
The program will feature distinguished speakers who will reflect on CHERN’s activities, achievements, and outputs over the past five years, connecting these to recent global developments. Together, we will explore the unique value of a knowledge network like CHERN for the current and future landscape of China–Europe studies and relations.
The event will also serve as an opportunity to promote a new publication summarizing CHERN’s achievements and plans for the future, launch CHERN’s new networking structure, and discuss future plans and activities with both current and aspiring members.
